When planning a strategy there are many factors that has to be thought about. One factor is the number of competitors, and how mild or cutthroat the competitors at the table are. You will have to be more careful in larger games. Another element is your bank balance. You will want to bet unbelievably carefully and select a hand incredibly carefully if you have a bankroll balance of only a few dollars.

We spend little or no time in thinking and thinking about the game when we are away from the table, as we spend all of our time gambling. One often missed element is to know our own strengths and limitations. Little mistakes can add up, and when the hands are tougher these smallest of errors can turn the tables on us and move us from the winning spot to the losing. So in place of aimlessly playing, we must master scheme that might be to our advantage.

You have to constantly remember that competing in all hands does not actually make you a success. You have to be selective in your play and your cards. You have to play smaller but better cards then your competitors. For this you have to take calculated and planned chances and back them strongly. You must sit around waiting for the correct cards, and when you have them, you must go for the jugular.
